Insular Celtic Timeline

From 5600 BCE to 540 CE

Note:

The name of the same Celtic god or hero may appear several times throughout this timeline attached to different historical individuals. Based on the Celtic belief that the talents and skills of an ancestor can be transmitted through the bloodline in the form of ancestral or genetic memory, every descendant of heroes such as Nuada, Bran, Macha, Bodecia or King Arthur can carry some of the memories and sense of purpose of their ancestor, can perhaps feel the connection as a form of incarnation. In the Celtic world, these were potentialities - descendents, even avatars, having the capability, if time and circumstance came together to create a definitive moment, of changing history.
